White Horse – A Swedish Classic Men’s Fragrance

In the 1950s, perfumer Monsieur Jonas created the men’s fragrance White Horse. His vision was to design a complete men’s line in the British tradition, tailored for the style-conscious man. The perfume gains its unique scent partly from rose oil and from being matured in Swedish oak barrels, which lend notes of vanilla and spice.

During the 1950s and 1960s, Parfumerie Seger on Karlavägen in Stockholm offered a full men’s range of White Horse products, including: Eau de Toilette, pre-shave/el shave, shaving foam, shaving cream, shaving soap, aftershave, deodorant, shower soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair tonic, hair cream, and brilliantine.
